Top 4 finish secured as Scotch bow out with win

Scotch College have endured a successful table tennis season with a top 4 position secured, they went into Saturday’s match with St Kevins looking to finish on a high and cement a place inside the APS top 3 which they managed to do with a dramatic 8-7 victory over their competitors.

FAMILIAR FACES FROM ALL CORNERS OF THE WORLD

A record 609 players from 109 countries will be battling it out for table tennis’ biggest prize in Budapest this April. With less than six weeks remaining until table tennis’ biggest event of the year kicks off, today the player entry lists are confirmed for the Liebherr 2019 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships, to be held between 21-28 April in Budapest, Hungary.

Underdogs?

‘I don't feel like we are underdogs’ Rahul Mathews eager for APS glory. Wesley College have always had a rich history within sporting achievements having won numerous APS titles in cricket, athletics and rowing since the school first opened its gates on 11th January 1866. Now 153 years later Wesley are on the edge of claiming their first APS table tennis title with Haileybury the only obstacle in their way.
