WHATS ALL THE BUZZ ON SOMERVILLE ROAD

Why is the game of Table Tennis making a comeback? Fun, economics, safety and the fast paced actvities provided are all valid reasons for why parents are using Table Tennis to keep their children active during school holidays - but it's mostly due to the dicipline of the game, keeping their kids off the devices and on to the ROBOTS.

Yep you’ve heard me correctly – the BOT’s! that help keep the kids active for hours! Gone are the days of playing ouside and why get hurt playing football when BOT HITTING PIONG PONG IS HERE!

Creators Simon Gerada and Melissa Tapper (a husband / wife dueo) are no strangers to the game, both being Olympians and Australian Champions who promote the LOOPS facility with a “NEW SPINS ON A CLASSIC GAME” and are not suprised to see so many people fill the facility.

“yeah, we’re seeing the idea come to life which is great. We’ve seen kids as young as four play the ROBOTS and enjoy their time” said Melissa Tapper

The LOOPS facility is located in the West of Sunshine on 618 Somerville Road and with the School Holiday period looming parents are trialling the new facility in time for July.

Why Table Tennis and why LOOPS? Table tennis is a fun, social and low-impact sport that provides great exercise for both body and brain. LOOPS has years of experience teaching this sport to help you enjoy these benefits.
